All sleeves, vinyl, cd etc in excellent condition. Remarkably, this particular set made it from Scotland to Australia to the States without damage-- a lucky one for sure. Note: the 'dry' weight of this box and its contents is about 3 1/2 pounds (1.587 kg) so shipping is not cheap.

Simply put, this is a must for anyone who'd fallen in love with either of Arab Straps first two albums. 'The Week...' and 'Philophobia' over 3LPs, an extra two LPs of rarities, Peel sessions, a CD with two live sets from King Tuts and T in the Park, a CD of early singles, a poster, a certificate of authenticity signed by Aidan and Malcolm, replicated cassette that was handed into Chemikal Underground when they got their deal, liner notes from Aidan and Malcolm and a data CD with all the tracks from the vinyls and cassette (plus a surprise or two - hint hint).
The real highlight is a new song recorded last year on the rarities LP entitled 'Daughters of Darkness', it's up there with the very best songs Arab Strap ever put out. It was originally demoed back when they were together but only completed in 2009.
It may be an expensive boxset but it really is staggeringly deluxe. Because of this, I'd consider it good value for money.
