I have just posted a copy of War of the Ring given to me by ARC lead guitarist Mike Whitbread. He also gave me another cover, but he did not have another copy of the record to go with it. Only 1,000 were pressed in 1981 so that would appear to be the last one that Mike has to offer. So, probably last chance. Please see my earlier posting.
I have described this cover as new because it has never been bought or sold and was found among a pile of correspondence where it has been for 30 years. It is in mint to mint minus condition. I have posted it in case anyone either has a poor cover or is missing the cover.
I have included a copy of the War of the Ring lyrics and an A4 copy of a very rare photograph of the ARC line up that recorded War of the Ring - Steve Potter, Phil Lynch, John, Geoff, and Mike Whitbread - taken on the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire, near here. The original photograph is owned by Mike Whitbread and it is the only copy known to exist.
