Description

In view of the interest in this single I am selling my own copy. I am not a collector. I have been the ARC bass player since 1998.

This copy has a rare promotional sleeve that is a gatefold cover. A few were produced in 1981 so that the single, photos, and other promotional material could be placed inside and mailed to agents and to radio stations. The record is mint and unplayed and the sleeve is mint. Included is a copy of the War of the Ring lyrics. Also included is an A4 copy of a very rare photograph of the ARC line up that recorded War of the Ring - Steve Potter, Phil Lynch, John, Geoff, and Mike Whitbread - taken on the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire, near here. The original photograph is owned by Mike Whitbread and it is the only copy known to exist.
