Seldom offered for sale and desirable soundtrack rarity. A fabulous mix of jazz / psychedelic hammond lounge and Neopolitan Tarantella. Superb mood music from the cult comedy cum stylish crime caper / treasure heist movie, Operation San Gennaro. A film set in Naples directed by Dino Risi starring Nino Manfredi / Senta Berger and Toto. Features the killer jazz theme RAPINA E INSEGUIMENTO with Oscar Valdambrini (?) playing like Miles Davis / the groovy I Marc 4 lounge of MAGGIE and the blasting cinematic jazz and flamboyant mediterranean folk motifs of LITTLE "PAISANO" JACK and FUGA ALL'AEREOPORTO. Our soundclip opens with the moody underwater hammond sounds and exotic Mary Mayo style scat vocal intro of IL MIRACOLO. Pop art inspired artwork sleeve too. Original RCA inner included. Very rare Lp!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M- condition overall) with a few light scuffs and hairlines. Light surface noises. A few soft pops. Promo-only ink stamp to one side of label (see photo). The thick hard card sleeve is close to M- condition with minimal wear. Sharp corners and edges / perfect spine etc. Some natural age discoloration. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photos. Very rare OST Lp!!
