Description
This is part of a large auction featuring Vee-Jay/King/Federal labels. Lots of cool blues, R&B and doo-wop here, with some bonus listings as always. Check back in a couple of weeks for a small label R&B auction.

Release: The Midnighters - E Basta Cosi / In the Doorway Crying
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1956
Notes: White label "bio-label" promo first pressing. Earlier single by this seminal vocal group out of Detroit. They would go on launch the dance craze "The Twist". Two great tracks here, both straddling the line between R&B and doo-wop. Very much worth hearing.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in great shape with basically no wear. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. The labels are very clean with no tears, scuffs, writing. Looks great. This is a top notch copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, outer sleeve is original. Has some minor wrinkling and a small pencil number. No tears/splits, but does have some damage to the top edge.
