Description

The Midnighters Their Greatest Hits Federal Records LP 541

Scarce R&B/doo wop classic. Bawdy, risque, daring. Sleeve has moderate wear and aging on flats with a name printed in ink on back in top left corner. Top seam is completely split with the same split continuing one inch down the spine from the top corner. Small edge chip in rim - see last photo - it does not effect play. The vinyl is only in GOOD condition. That is to say it is very rough - with gloss loss, dusty patches that have resisted cleaning and many light surface scuffs and scratches. That's the bad news. The good news is that the vinyl plays through without skipping or repeats and sounds quite decent with some areas of varying surface noise - that never overwhelms the music. I have to say I was a little surprised at how good it did sound considering its visual appearance. Low starting bid and no reserve. No buy it now price.
