Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the debut LP by British/German R.I.O. group the Art Bears, released in 1978. The group was a collaboration between former Henry Cow members Fred Frith and Chris Cutler, and ex-Slapp Happy vocalist Dagmar Krause, and their sound is (unsurprisingly) reminiscent of those two bands. The two groups had collaborated three years earlier on the LP, Desperate Straights. The gatefold jacket is close to M- with light ring wear and very light corner wear (EX+). The disc is clean with a few wispy hairline scrapes, and plays close to M- with a little light surface noise (EX+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
