Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment. All unsealed LPs cleaned with Spin-Clean record cleaning system.
United Artists deep groove, STEREO vinyl LP UAS 5007 - released 1958
NM vinyl retains newish shine and gloss with no play or handling marks. Spindle trail side 2 label indicates limited prior play. Side 1 spindle trail questionable under lit magnification. Play test on NAD C555 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge revealed crisp, rich stereo sound with only rare isolated light tick detected. Overall a superior pressing of this classic LP. VG+ laminated cover has light shelf wear, stub upper right corner, what appear to be adhesive remnants upper rear right corner (see photo), and lower corner dings. Jacket has slight bow.
