Description

Front cover - Art Pepper, Discovery, DL 3019.  Discovery REcords of New York Inc.  Brown Gold, these foolish things, surf ride, holiday flight, suzie the poodle, tickle toe, everything happens to me, chili pepper.  Back cover reads in part:  Art Pepper Quartet - The sotry of every big band leader starts with his joining a well known group and working his way up to becoming a featured side man.  In every musical period ranging from original dixie to modern day prgressive sounds these great men have been stepping out of bands to become individual starts.  This, of course is the story of Art Pepper, who for years was featured with the Stan Kenton Band.....Bob Schwaid.  The latest date I could find in the article about him is 1952.  I don't know how old this record is.  Discovery Long Playing.  Also has Listen to these outstanding discovery records - featuring great jazz artist and has a list.

This record is in very nice condition and plays great.  Vinyl is shiney and there are no scratches - only some light scuffs from coming in and out of the sleeve.  The sleeve or cover has some wear to the edges.

Cover has some wear including rounding corners and a mark in the lower left corner.  Vinyl looks to be in great condition with the paper sleeve making a few light scuffs on it.  Plays nice.
