Description
The LEFTOVERS LATE 70'S PUNK LEGENDS FROM AUSTRALIA ORIGINAL SINGLE (NOT REPRINTED COPY) VERY RARE IF EVEN CAN BE FOUND.
This copy came from the same DJ that i exchanged stuff ( Upsets, Razar ) for in 1981 with the DJ on 4222FM (a local Queensland radio station at the time ( I also got his radio copy of Razar Task Force (with 4222FM and 'swearing warning notes' handwritten on the label >>>> i think my fave Aussie punk track of all time ! But im keeping that one :)
The Writing and LEF scratch on the label, is i guess, by same DJ as it was there when i recieved it way back. (Writing can clearly be seen in photos)

Never Released in picture sleeve and comes with the white paper (label hole in one side only) sleeve that i recieved it in.
Vinyl is EX+ , has some light surface marks but plays great, and has the writing on the label which for me makes it unique. Maybe someone out there can shed light on who wrote and scratched the text on side A ?
Side 2 sounds really like the Cosmic Psychos :)

The Leftovers were the first true punk band in Brisbane. Their first gig was with the Saints and a fight erupted between the Saint’s long haired fans and the Leftovers short haired fans, and made the local police aware of this thing called ‘punk rock’. This band is the stuff of legend and this single is one of the most treasured in Australian collections. Part of OZ punk history.
This is from a private collection that has been stored perfectly for between 20 to 30+ years !! Gonna sell more stuff in May.
