1967 kehrten die VIPs nach ihrer Zeit auf dem Kontinent, wo sie auch mehrmals im Star Club Hamburg auftraten, den größten Erfolg aber in Frankreich hatten, wieder nach London zurück.. Das psychedelische London von 1967 war nun reif für sie. Die Band änderten ihren Bandnamen und nannten sich ART, sie bekamen einen Vertag beim Island Label und nahm dieses sehr gute Album auf. Aber es war eine schnelle Zeit und neue Ideen sprudelten nur so. Als Ende 1967 Gary Wright als zweiter Sänger und Organist zu ihnen stieß, änderten sie ihren Namen erneut und wurden SPOOKY TOOTH.

Zustand: “Very Good Plus“ Die LP könnte eigentlich als “Near Mint” durchgehen. Sie wurde wenig gespielt und ist noch in sehr gutem Zustand. Allerdings ist auf Seite A am Auslauf von Track 2 wenige leise Knacker  zu hören. In den beiden Einlaufrillen und teilweise zwischen den Stücken ist leichtes Knistern vorhanden.. Ich konnte aber keine sichtbaren oder hörbaren Kratzer feststellen. Nur einige feine Oberflächenwischer, die durch das Rein- und Rausschieben aus der Innenhülle entstanden sind. Das Cover ist “Very Good Plus“. Keine gestauchten Ecken, die Laminierung ist noch gut erhalten, nur an wenigen Stellen minimale Schäden, eine glatte Einschubseite. Einzig an der matten Rückseite befinden sich drei kleine braune Verfärbungen. Da es das gleiche Braun ist wie am laminierten Rand, nehme ich an, das die Verfärbung bereits bei der Fertigung des Covers entstanden ist.

1967 returned the VIPs after their time on the continent, where she also appeared several times at the Star Club in Hamburg, but had the greatest success in France. back to London .The 1967 Psychedelic London was now ready for them. The band changed their band name and called themselves ART, they signed with the Island label and recorded this excellent album. But it was a fast time and new ideas just poured that way. As the end of 1967 Gary Wright as second vocalist and organist came to them, they changed their name again in SPOOKY TOOTH .

Condition: "Very Good Plus" The LP could actually pass as a "near mint". It was little played and is still in very good condition. However,  on side A at the outlet of Track 2 are a few quiet cracklings. In the two inlet grooves and partially between the Tracks some light crackling is present- But I could not find any visible or audible scratches. Only some fine surface hairlines, caused by the in and out pushing out the inner sleeve. The cover is "Very Good Plus". No upset corners, lamination is still in good condition, minimal damage only in a few places, a smooth insertion side. Only on the dull backside, there are three small brown discoloration. Since it's the same brown as the laminated edge, I suppose that even at the discoloration of the Production of the cover has arisen.
