FOR SALE HERE IS :- MEAN OLE FRISCO - BY BLUES LEGEND, ARTHUR ' Big Boy' CRUDUP ULTRA RARE AND UBER COLLECTABLE LP ON THE LEGENDARY ' BLUE HORIZON ' LABEL. RECORDED IN NEW YORK CITY CIRCA 1959. THE ALBUM FEATURES ARTHUR HIMSELF ON VOCALS & GUITAR, ACC BY UNKNOWN BASS & DRUMS. This Session dates from 1959 but each blues could have been recorded in the forties, Crudup is singing his best known songs, the sound is rural: pure country blues, though the driving backing, originally supplie by Ransom knowling or Judgr Riley among others has been replaced by that of an unknown New York Bassist and drummer. SLEEVE : VG+, HAS TWO SMALL STICKER TEARS AND SLIGHT STORAGE WEAR TO THE SEAMS. BUT OVERALL IT'S OK. SEE PICS. LABELS : EX CAT No : 7-63855 YEAR ; 1970 RECORD : EX, NICE AND CLEAN WITH SUPERB AUDIO.
