Elvis Presley got his recording chance at Sam Phillips' Sun Recording Studios back in 1954. He recorded a few country sounding songs which weren't all that impressive. During a break, He began "acting the fool" by jamming on a blues tune by Arthur Crudup. The tune was called "That's All Right". When Sam Phillips heard this, he ran back and turned on the recorder. The rest is Rock & Roll history. This is Crudup's original issue of the song that Elvis copied at that session. Pure Rock & Roll history!
Record looks to have been juked on an old machine which only played one side of the record. Fortunately, the juked side is the "A" side or the side titled "Crudup's After Hours". This side of the record appears to have seen a few plays with some light striping and groove wear. Grade this side V. The side which counts, the "B" side ( That's All Right) looks clean and shiney. Has one visible scratch which is in the run out area and touches no grooves. There is one minor radial wear mark which plays through with no problems and is inaudible. Grade this historic side E+. Labels are clean and flawless. Record comes in original sleeve. Pay by PayPal. Buyer to pay actual postage costs from zip code 15656 plus $1.50 packaging material costs.
