THE ARTWOODS  ' I TAKE WHAT I WANT ' /  ' I'M LOOKING FOR A SAXOPHONIST DOUBLING FRENCH HORN WEARING SIZE 37 BOOTS ' . ORIGINAL UK DECCA 7" SINGLE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION . TOP NOTCH MOD / FREAKBEAT FLOOR FILLER .THIS GREAT 60'S GROUP FEATURED A YOUNG JON LORD IN HIS PRE DEEP PURPLE DAYS .

UK Decca Records . Cat # F 12384 .  Matrix # XDRF - 37804 - T1-1 C /  XDRF - 37803 -T 1 - 1 C  . Issued 1966 . Superb Collectable UK ORIGINAL ARTWOODS 1960's Mod / Beat 7" Single In  EXCELLENT Condition . The Artwoods ' I Take What I Want '  /  ' I'm Looking For A Saxophonist.... ' was this great groups 4th Decca single and is a total classic and an essential part of any freakbeat  /  mod collection . This is one of the finest singles they recorded , with thumping bass and chiming fuzz guitar throughout . A really fast rocking track that goes down a storm at any mod dance night , a real floor filler !  The 'B' side 'Saxophonist' is a great fingerpoppin funky Hammond organ / fuzz guitar mod instro , an absolute gem in it's own right . The record is in Excellent condition plays near to Mint , the label has (on both sides) a very small stain where there was once a sticker . This record has been in my personal collection for over 30 years and only played a handful of  times . I doubt if you will find a better copy of this CLASSIC record .  As you can see in the photo's the single is in it's original Decca sleeve . There is no reserve and i have put a low start price .
