ASHIKO - sunrise sunshine / hey mr dj 12" - plum XPD 239

Hard to find in clean condition, these 12" only songs by the great Ashiko (not to be confused with Ashiko Deluxe from Cameroon, elsewhere in this auction). Sunrise Sunshine is a very catchy afro synth bubblegum disco groove that was once sampled by the late South African rapper HHP, and the flipside is a midtempo boogie groove with a bit of rap halfway into the song, a proper dj tool given its title and chorus.
