One of the finest direct-to-disc recordings ever to come out of Japan, this is clarinetist Eiji Kitamura’s SWING SESSIONS, which sounds quite liquid, the transparency quite stunning in the listening.

Grand sounding selections include AVALON, BODY AND SOUL, MEMORIES OF YOU, SHINE, PETITE FLEUR, and two vocal numbers with Judy Anton (that’s Judy on the cover) of I HADN’T ANYONE TILL YOU and WHAT A LITTLE MOONLIGHT CAN DO.

An extraordinary record: In a cover with a hint of edge beginning; otherwise, just fine with a punch hole. Japanese direct-to-disc pressing inside will play near mint.
