Act One Beggars Opera Sealed Prog Vinyl

For bid is a still sealed copy of Act One Beggars Opera.   This is a UK Pressing on Vertigo 6360 018. The price sticker is on the shrink. This is a gatefold cover. The record store sealed this 30 years ago and the shrink is one of those heavy poly bags. The upper seam on the bag is open in about 2 places for about 6-7 inches, but it is still sealed. Since it is still sealed, I don't know what color the swirl on the Veritgo label is. The photo is of the actual item.  I can take additional photos, if needed. This has been in my possession for over 25 years. It is not a recent reissue.

All records are visually graded unless still sealed.

Condition

The majority of these records have been in my care for over 20-40 years in a smoke free environment. They have for the most part been very carefully handled.  All of my records are original pressings. If an item is sealed I cannot open it up to describe the label color or variations. 

Payment Shipping and holding items

If I receive payment by early Saturday morning, I try to ship right after auction ends. Otherwise items will go out mid week, the following week.

Combined shipping and holding items.

I have no problem holding items to save on shipping costs. I feel shipping up to 4 per box is about the right amount and will not make the package too heavy and I can use enough protective pads to cushion them,

I have to adjust my conditions due to some of eBay’s quirkiness. After 30 days I can no longer combine payments since they drop off of eBay’s list. All buyers must pay within 21 days if you request to combine shipping. If you want to wait even longer to get up to the 4 per box, I will send you an additional invoice and adjust the shipping to reflect the other items. Each additional US shipping is about $1.00 more for each lp up to a max of $6.95 for 4 shipped Media mail. $2.00 more per lp to ship Priority. International adds about $3.00 more for each LP.

I package things the way I have cared for them for over 30 plus years and I want to ensure that you receive them the same way. I stamp the packages with fragile warnings so that hopefully the post office does not play football with your package. All US packages are sent delivery confirmation. That is the best I can do. If you do not agree with my shipping policy PLEASE DO NOT BID. Thanks for all your support and I'm glad you enjoy them.

I really try to wrap and send things well packaged. I try to send you a photo of the package when it leaves my care.

I am now able to print labels on line and I can save a bit with delivery confirmation. I am reflecting this in the 3rd option below.

Flat rate shipping for $4.00 I ship the lp media mail in a cardboard mailer. No filler pads or delivery confirmation is included. Please be aware that I cannot imagine how your lp will arrive after traveling for 10+days from West to East Coast. This is your choice and please do not complain your item did not arrive in good shape. I have complained to eBay about this policy, you should too if you have a problem with this.

Priority Mail is $9.95 and you get the mailer and 2 pads and delivery confirmation. It also gets there in a couple of days. Priority is very costly; I have no control over the post office rates.

The 3rd option is parcel post is $4.95. I have no way of putting in another media mail option, but this is how I will ship. THIS IS NOT SENT PARCEL POST. It is sent Media mail with the lp in a cardboard mailer, delivery confirmation and 2 full size protective filler pads.

Media mail from West coast to East Coast is taking 10 plus days.

International Customers

I appreciate your business and want to continue to sell my great records overseas. I had 3 instances of packages not arriving or arriving up to 2 months late. By then Paypal has deducted my income due to their policy. You can read my feedback as I ship all over the world and out of over 300+ shipments, 2 have not made it to their overseas destination. There are 2 ways to ship and unfortunately they are both expensive. First Class International (FCI), which is Air mail and First Class Priority. There, is no ground or surface available. Also, FCI cannot be tracked or insured. All I receive for FCI is a customs number proving I sent the item. My proof on my receipt is the customs number, the date the item was shipped and the country it was shipped to. It does not include your name. This is my proof that I shipped to you, all bidders must agree to take full responsibility if they select FCI. This includes ALL those who pay via Paypal. If you do not agree with this, PLEASE DO NOT BID!.If you want protection it is available using Priority Mail. I will not ship any item over $125.00 without insurance. If you want to save money, I am very willing to hold items and combine shipping. Each additional lp adds about $3.00 to the base shipping price. I make no money on the shipping portion, the post office does. Also I realize that customs value is something that you are sometimes required to pay, I am not responsible for this charge, PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO LOWER THE VALUE OF THE ITEM SO THAT YOU PAY LESS TAXES. The price of the item is what I receive; any tax is your responsibility.
