 This is an ORIGINAL release of  BEGGARS OPERA's rare and classic first 12" LP called ' ACT ONE ' - released originally as here in 1970 on the VERTIGO SPIRAL RECORDS label.

This is an ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING from NEW ZEALAND - very very few of these records sold when first released in New Zealand....so they are very rarely seen these days.

Visually graded under a 100W  light source the vinyl retains EXCELLENT glossy sheen - with very few visible marks at all even hairlines.

And this is confirmed on playing as overall there is very little surface noise audible even during the quieter parts.

Both sides have been PLAY GRADED. 

Side 1 is graded - EXCELLENT 

Side 2 is graded - EXCELLENT 


The BLACK & WHITE VERTIGO large SPIRAL  record labels are graded EXCELLENT MINUS - with little visible spindle wear. 

The thin card LAMINATED GATEFOLD PICTURE sleeve is graded VERY GOOD PLUS - has corner wear and some spine rub which makes it illegible. Also there are some pen notes written inside and a small 1cm tear to the top of the spine. But no splits other than that.
