- Mint ( M ) – Perfect in every way. Never been played. Normally " STILL SEALED ".
- Near Mint- ( NM- ) – The album has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times, if ever. May show an extremely slight surface mar from the storage sleeve.
- Excellent ( E ) – Light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times; or shows very slight signs of use.
- Very Good Plus ( VG+ ) – May show a few faults, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub; light inaudible marks; or a little background crackle may occur.
- Very Good ( VG ) – It’s seen a bit of life, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly " USED ".
- I will rarely; if ever; offer an album that would grade below these standards.
- Buyers should evaluate photos, and grade jacket according to their particular standards and expectations.
