Description

Up for sale is an excellent first pressing promotional copy of Al Kooper's "Four On The Floor" on Casablanca Records (NBLP 7180). This 1979 release showcases the legendary organist and session musician exploring funk and disco territory, with co-production by Jeff Baxter—studio heavyweight from Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers.

Kooper's keyboard wizardry and production expertise shine throughout this album. Known for his groundbreaking work with Dylan, Blood Sweat & Tears, and the Super Session albums, Kooper brought his signature sound to the Casablanca label during disco's peak.
