Hi, Its time to clear out most of my records. As you will see by my user name I am very into mainly music from 1964-1973.I was lucky to be around at a great time in the UK and I was able to see most of the classic bands and I collected some great records. I am very clued up about different UK pressings as I have collected vinyl for around 30 years. I will be adding some gems from now on from my collection. I have taken great effort in my pictures so that you will see my items are very carefully graded, I think my pictures will show this. MEGA RARE UK 1962 TOPIC 1ST PRESSING 7"EP IN PICTURE COVER (TOP 70)
This EP was issued 3 times in the 1960's but this is the near impossible to find 1st pressing with the early Cream labels and the different 1st issue picture cover. When this record does rarely show up it is normally in a very worn out condition. Most people nowadays have trouble grading records and covers seeing pictures on E Bay with covers graded as VG that simply look like old tatty rubbish. This record came from a reviewers collection this person worked for the music paper the NME in the 1960's the record I doubt was played more than a couple of times. I have owned this record for many years and have probably only played it a couple of times including today. The record comes complete with its original excellent condition paper inner cover.
The Record
The record is in really great condition .I will grade as visually EXCELLENT+ condition even under harsh strong light this disc has a very new look. The record has not been played more than a handful of times. This is possibly the nicest example of this EP you will find. The vinyl playing surfaces are in beautiful condition, if you see further down both labels are spindle mark free. The disc plays with some surface crackle under the music this is not due to the condition of the disc but this was the pressing. If you are a serious Topic collector or serious Folk record collector you will know that the sound of the Topic pressings in the early 60's were not perfect. Please note the record has not been altered in any way this come from a reviewers collection and has spent the rest of its life with me.

The Labels
Are in Mint condition. As you will see the original cream labels are perfect there is no spindle marks or any kind of wear. Take a look below they are stunning.
The Cover
The is in a great Very Good++ Condition. As you will see by the pictures it is in great condition for a fragile cover. The cover was not laminated and is prone to serious wear. Finding this cover in this true accurate condition is very hard remember this is the first issue purple cover it has some a small bend to the top right hand corner with some edge wear and a little normal aging as you will see by the pictures the cover is still very clean and flat the colours have not faded and to try and find a better example will prove hard. VG+++ is a strict and nice grade.
Do not miss this as it is a very rare EP in great condition.

I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All records are sent out in a plastic cover with the record NOT inside the front cover to stop splits and damage. I will also place the LP in a new inner cover to stop damage to the original when in the post. Insurance is available . The choice is yours if you take it or not. I will get a proof of posting for all items sent out. I will not be responsible for lost post if insurance is not taken.
