Alice Cooper - School's Out/ Gutter Cat

(Warner Bros K16188` UK 7" 1972)

This is a UK original Picture Sleeve 7" single pressing. These were a Limited Edition in 1972. The picture sleeve is printed on semi-buff paper. It is top opening. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has green "Warner Bros" labels. The record has 1st press A1/ B1 matrix stampers.  "RAYS" is etched in the dead wax on both sides. A genuine UK Picture Sleeve 1st pressing. These are not that common.


Sleeve: There is a 1 cm tear at the centre on the top opening of the front sleeve. There is a tiny 0.2 cm tear nearby too. Again, this only affects the front sleeve. There is some light, mild or very mild creasing at the top sleeve opening too. There is a slight remnants of a small green sticker on the front sleeve (see photo). It doesn't notice that much. This is at the top left-hand corner of the sleeve. There is a very small 1 cm tear at the centre of the bottom edge. There is light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear on the bottom edge too. There is light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the two side edges on some areas. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear. A strong Very Good condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are 3 light hairline surface marks. One of these is "V" shaped. The hairline marks measure from 0.5 cm to 2 cm in length. They are all on the B-side. The A-side is in Very Good+ condition. The B-side is in Good++ condition. Overall, Very Good condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show mild spindle wear only.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good+ to Near Excellent overall & Excellent in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are no noticeable clicks or pops. Overall, a Near Excellent audio copy.

I shall place the vinyl into a separate plain paper or polythene sleeve. This will protect the original sleeve from any damage during transit.
