A big "Thank you" to the Site "Discogs" for the following review of this 1st issue German pressing by :deane.43  / January 17, 2014:

The 1st German pressing, 192 04 707/8/9 Y, has a WONDERFUL, ambient, almost holographic depth and presence in the upper mids and treble. Amazing, 3-D imaging with the German pressing; Not quite as transparent as the U.K., but the earliest German pressings of "All Things Must Pass" may well be the very best sounding of ANY. I hate to use the phrase "tube sound" but the German pressed LP set has the clear sonic stamp of top grade electron tube mastering equipment on all 3 LPs. The BOX for the German pressing is superior also; the cover photo is printed on CANVAS rather than paper, is taller and wider to better accommodate the poster and 3 LPs. The German has quiet, top grade vinyl as well. The only other pressing that competes with the German issue is the red vinyl first pressing from Japan.
