Description
Iconic live album released in 1971 on Capricorn Records pink label (US pressing) in a gatefold cover. Tracks: STATESBORO BLUES - DONE SOMEBODY WRONG - STORMY MONDAY - YOU DONT LOVE ME - HOT 'LANTA - IN MEMORY OF ELIZABETH REED - WHIPPING POST. The vinyls are clean with very light marks that dont infringe on playback. The sleeve shows storage/ shelf/ edge wear and damage to the top left corner, less to the bottom. This album is signed by four founder members of the group - brothers Duane and Gregg plus Dickey Betts and drummer Jaimoe. The Duane and Gregg signatures are in fountain pen ink and much older than the other two. Duane in particular would have had to sign the item between its release in July of '71 and his tragic death a little over three months later.This ties in with the type of ink used on both His and his brothers' signatures. Jaimoe and Dickey Betts' signatures were obtained at a later date, in more visible, bold pen, one in silver the other black.
