Description
This very rare Reggae 7" record features the legendary Alton Ellis with his unique version of the famous Al Green song, "Let's Stay Together". B-side is "Version". This particular record is the 1972 Jamaican release issued on the ackee label (very rare on this particular label), and recorded at Studio One. The vinyl is rated VG. The vinyl surface has some light scuffs and scratches from past handling and storage, but side A plays pretty well with a few crackles and clicks here and there. Side B has more crackles throughout, hence VG rather than VG+. There are no jumps or skips. The label is very clean on both sides. This record is priced according to vinyl quality, label rarity and current comparables. This is a unique opportunity to own a classic recording at a very competitive price. I don't know of any other copies for sale in the UK.
