Description

This is a very rare LP (especially in such good condition) by AMON DUUL II called "YETI" It is a 1st pressing from 1970 on Liberty Records with blue and black labels and textured gatefold sleeve.

It is widely considered to be the bands finest album and is seminal in terms of what was happening at the time. It is increasingly rare to find a copy, let alone one as good as this!

This double album has clearly only ever been played a few times and as such is in incredible condition. The vinyls are really clean, with only the very lightest marks ("paper scuffs" from the inner sleeves - these occur when the record is put in and out of the sleeve but dont affect playing) that are only visible under stong direct light. The record labels are also in awesome condition with no wear, writing or spindle marks. As you would expect the 1st press "EJ Day" sleeve is also in great condition, with no writing or "dog ears" at all. The spine is not worn and remains straight, with the writing still bold and clear, and the opening edges are really straight with no "feathering." There is some light wear to the cover, but only the tiniest amount.

I have played the record through (on decent Rega equipment) and can say that it plays as good as it looks, with no sticking or pops, hiss or crackle. It really is that good. The catalogue number is LSP101.

A must for any fan of Amon Duul II or any prog/kraut sounds!
