1970/German/Ohr OMM 56008 super stereo sound,..."Paradieswarts Duul",...Paradieswaerts Duul is an entirely different thing than the first three releases. Released by Ohr in 1970, hence predating Disaster, Paradieswaerts Duul is a primitive folk/psych album that dwells in about the same region as the Velvet Underground's third album and Love's Forever Changes, but not as complicated as either of these releases. The album contains only three songs. "Love is Peace" is a beautiful 17 minute long piece that as Julian Cope notes in his Krautrocksampler, bares resemblance to "Sandoz in the Rain" on (Amon Duul II's)Yeti and not much else. This is also true of the third song on the Paradieswaerts Duul, "Paramechanische Welt". Straddled between these two is a guitar and drum instrumental "Snow Your Thurst and Sun Your Open Mouth". In its totality its a beautiful tranquil album, it is Amon Duul at their most stunningly beautiful. re: warts, I have just listened to this LP from start to finish and it is really excellent and I found very trippy, this is a superb Excellent original copy!, the fully laminated cover is in Excellent condition, there is a little storage ring at the top and a bit of storage wear, nothing serious, no splits, writing, etc., the cover looks sharp!, the vinyl is shiny and clean, Excellent to M- condition!, there are very few inaudible hairline scuffs from the inner sleeve, the record plays really great, clean and sharp with very little noise, super clean labels with no spindle marks, I don't think this was ever played more than a couple of times!, really a solid copy here!, very reasonable reserve!
