  • Label & Cat #:  1953 Clef Records ?– MG C-144 *original first pressing with "Trumpeter" black label with Silver Print...Great Reddish pink Cover with David Stone Martin (DSM) amazing artwork. Deep Groove.
  • Vinyl Grade: VG++ (visual)   No deep scratches.  Light hairlines in some places that are not sensitive to touch.  (See play grading below)
  • Cover Grade: EX+  Very Nice jacket considering the age (1953) with light wear features David Stone Martin cover; no seam splits, no ring wear, rub marks towards perimeter are noticeable (but nothing serious)..please see all pics. 
  • Notes: This  was the second 10 inch LP studio album by jazz singer Billie Holiday on Clef released in 1953. Performers on album from two 1952 recording sessions include Alvin Stoller, Barney Kessel, Charlie Shavers, Flip Phillips, J.C. Heard, Joe Newman, Oscar Peterson, Paul Quinichette, and the great Ray Brown
  • Play tested: Billie Holiday's vocals are powerful and amazing.  You will hear surface noise but it does not overpower Billie's towering strong vocals.
