Description

This is a Classic Records double LP reissue of the RCA Victor deluxe Soria Series “Living Stereo” recording of “The Royal Ballet conducted by Ernest Ansermet with the Orchestra of the Royal Covent Garden Opera House, catalog number LDS-6065.

I don’t remember when I got it but it would have had to have been around the late ’80s to early ’90s. This is an older pressing, not a current reissue. It comes with the original plastic outer sleeve that has the “With the complements of Classic Records” sticker on it.

This is a magnificent reissue with a bound book inside. It is in truly stunning condition – I’m calling it Near Mint for the cover, book and disc but it is virtually Mint in every respect and the records look unplayed – I do not recall ever playing them. I don’t know if you’ll find a cleaner copy of this original Classic Records reissue anywhere.

The set includes music from Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Sylphides, Giselle, Coppelia, Boutique Fantastique and Carnaval.

I have been collecting records and CDs for over 45 years and have decided to begin selling items from my collection as I no longer have the time to listen or the room to keep all my records and CDs. Keep your eyes open for many more records up for auction as time goes on. All of my records have been fanatically well kept over the decades in a smoke-free home.

Shipping via calculated Media Mail shipping to the US, or if you're an international bidder, via USPS Priority Mail, or First Class International upon request – please contact me prior to bidding for a shipping quote.

Please note: USPS First Class International shipments cannot be tracked or insured. (I have had no problems with international shipments using this method.) International buyers must accept full responsibility if they choose to use USPS First Class International shipping. Since this is a valuable record I recommend USPS Priority Mail International.
