Description
Anti-KKK song on OKeh, "Ku Ku (The Klucking of the Ku Klux Klan)" 1922 RARE!
DESCRIPTION Please do not report this auction as "unauthorized." It is an ANTI Klan item. Reporting it would be like reporting Schindler's List.Up for auction is OKeh 4642 featuring a rare anti-Ku Klux Klan song by Billy Frisch called "Ku Ku (The Klucking of the Ku Klux Klan)." This is in Excellent condition and plays beautifully on my Esoteric transcription record player. The reverse side as the same song but an instrumental version by Markels' Orchestra.
The chorus of the song is as follows:
Ku-Ku, Ku-Ku, that's the kluck kluck klucking
of the Ku Klux Klan,
Ku-Ku, Ku-ku, that's the gobble, gobble, gobble,
of the Goblin Man,
they call 'round in their nighties
and if you're not your best,
they'll dress you like a chicken
put feathers on your chest

About Me For several decades I was an avid collector of historical artifacts that reflected some aspect of American history. I used these items, or digital versions of them, to teach 10th graders about American history. I’m now close to the end of my career and approaching retirement. So, it’s time to start the downsizing process and depart with my beloved collection. Along the way I'll be selling off other items too.
