Approx 300 78 rpm records maybe more. 8 boxes plus looses discs.
If you were around in the 1980's & 90's you will probably remember Pat & Doug Martin who were Vintage Sounds in The Great Western Antique Centre in Bath.
This is what was left of their stock when they closed up. So this isn't a collection it is a dealers stock.
Mostly 30s & 40s Dance bands & Jazz, some earlier dance bands, singers (Crosby, Sinatra, the other 40's & 50's usual suspects),
I doubt there is any rock and roll (closest I spotted was The Crewcuts).
Other than that Glen Miller, Harry James, Roy Fox, Ambrose, Joe Loss, Benny Goodman, Dorseys, Louis Armstrong. Ellington, Basie, Oscar Peterson,
I will add other names as I get a chance to look.
I don't know if there is any Al Bowlly.
Also includes the 8 cases. I want to sell this as a lot, I am clearing my mothers house and to be honest haven't got time to hunt for specific records.
I will answer questions as best I can, but if you are within distance of Clevedon which is on the M5 just south of Bristol then i suggest coming to have a look.
Collection only, if you are bidding from abroad you will need to arrange collection, but I wouldn't trust a carrier not to break most of them.
I have had a quick look at what is there & this is a partial list of what there is. The rest is divided between Dance/swing bands both US & UK singers from 30's to 50's & Jazz mostly 1930's
bear in mind this is stock not a collection so there will be duplications
