Description
You are bidding on a chance to own a genuine piece of musical history; the Arctic Monkeys' first ever single,
the FIVE MINUTES WITH ARCTIC MONKEYS EP. Released in May 2005 before the band hit the big time, this CD release was
stictly limited to 1000 copies. It includes unique versions of 'FAKE TALES OF SAN FRANSISCO' and
'FROM THE RITZ TO THE RUBBLE' both of which are different, and in my opinion superior, to the versions which
eventually ended up on the band's debut album nearly a year later.
The EP was released on Bang Bang Recordings, a label established by the band themselves for the sole purpose of
issuing this record.
Both the CD itself and its case are in mint condition. I ordered the CD myself at the time of its release,
after having been at the Monkeys' first ever Scottish gig and been blown away by the band. Since then it has remained
in the envelope it was sent. It is in perfect condition, and it is with a heavy heart that I am being forced to part with it.
This would make the ideal present for any Arctic Monkeys fan, or would make a shrewd investment on the part of any record
collector. The value of this release has been growing substantially since it was first released, and with the Monkeys' huge popularity,
it will no doubt continue to do so.
