Description

Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers Blue Note 4003 47 West 63rd Street deep groove original mono pressing. No "R" on the label, RVG stamped n the dead wax, "ear" stamped in the dead wax. This record is not Mint by any means but it still is in a good VG condition, the playing surface has a few minor hairlike surface marks and both sides play graded and plays very well, minor surface noise at beginning of side 1, goes away quickly, Side 2 fine. Cover has a couple of creases across the front and rear and also has some age spotting and a sticker from a Washington D.C. record shop that has long since closed on the rear. VG cover, VG LP, original pressing for sure. Later pressings were called Moanin. Lee Morgan, Benny Golson, Jymie Merritt, Bobby Timmons join Art Blakey for this great 1958 date. Nice record, has been played and has minor hairlike surface marks, both both sides play well and Blakey's drums really shine here. If record not described accurately, happily refunded for this is a collectible LP. PayPal preferred and overseas bids welcome.
