Description
RARE 78 PM record by Art Blakey and his Messengers called Bop Alley/Groove Street Blue Note 546. This is rare for a few reasons: There is NO address on the label it only says Not Licensed for Broadcasting and this is usually not the case with any Blue Note release. Also it has Kenny Dorham, Edmond Gregory (before he became Sahib Shihab) and also a female bass player named Laverne Barker, who little is known about. Walter Bishop is also the pianist ion his earlier stint with the Messengers. This 78 RPM in ion EX condition, a storage find and has been locked away in a warehouse for over 20 years.
