Description
Art Pepper Sonny Redd Regent 6069 Original Mono LP. Original Deep groove pressing with green labels and RVG on the trail-off wax. Sidemen for Art Pepper are Hampton Hawes, Joe Mondragon, Larry Bunker, Jack Montrose, Monte Budwig, Claude Williamson, Larry Bunker, Russ Freeman, Bobby White, and Bob Whitlock. Tunes are: Deep Purple\Everything Happens to Me\These Foolish Things\What's New. Sidemen for Sonny Redd are Pepper Adams, Doug Watkins, Wynton Kelly, and Elvin Jones. Tunes are: Watkins Products\Redd's Head.
Condition - Grading is Visual Under Bright Light
Cover is a very strong VG+. The upper corners are slightly bumped and there is a bit of wear on the lower left corner. There is a ding on the edge 1/2 inch below the upper right corner with several small tears. The back is bright and clean. Autographed by Art Pepper on the back cover.This LP was part of a large collection of autographed jazz LP's belonging to a noted collector. A gorgeous cover, even with the small flaws you will not see many nicer.
LP is a nice glossy VG+ with some sleeve spotting and hairlines, nothing feelable or serious. Labels are beautiful with a few very faint marks visible under bright angled light. A nice example of this rare record.
Overall not perfect or NM but a very nice copy of a rare jazz LP. This copy should make most collectors very happy. Check out my other auctions for more rare and interesting records. Grading
Grading is SS (still sealed), NM, VG+, VG. The myriad of grading systems on Ebay is a good indicator of the subjective nature of grading. In my opinion NM is close to perfect with one or two very minor flaws, VG+ is above average and collectable and VG is average used condition but probably the best choice for playing. I'm a collector and try to describe LPs as accurately as possible, the way I would want them described to me. The pictures should at least give a good indication of the condition of the covers and labels. Please see my seller feedback for comments on my grading. If you don't agree with how I'm calling a record that is your privilege but with all respect please don't bid.
Packaging
LP will be shipped outside of jacket in record bag and boxed for protection using an LP shipping box with cardboard stiffeners.
Terms and Payment
Low starting price and no reserve. Seven day auction. Paypal only. Payment must be made within 48 hours of auction close or seven days for other forms of payment unless other arragements are made before end of auction.
Shipping and Insurance
I don't profit from shipping. If an overage occurs I will refund the difference.

$4.00 Priority mail with free delivery confirmation in US. Insurance is optional but I cannot be responsible for uninsured shipments.
International
Shipping methods are First Class or Priority International. First Class cannot be tracked. Please see shipping calculator for cost.

Refund Policy
I stand behind what I sell, LP may be returned in original condition for a full refund minus return shipping costs if I am notified within three days of receipt of LP. No rebates if you keep the LP. I don't end auctions early, there is no Buy It Now price, emails asking for a BIK price will be ignored. Good luck!
