Description
I bought this at an estate sale in the late 80's. It was in a box of records and I wasn't into this style back then so it just got stored in the collection. I played it for the first time in the mid-90's and then bought the CD as those were the times. I didn't play it again until about 10 years ago when I recorded it to FLAC and it hasn't been played since.
The vinyl looks and sounds like it was made yesterday! Truly stunning! The only "flaw" is on the label of Side 1 where a sticker was placed on it from the previous owner (pictured) after a Lifesaver Disc Protect application. Clearly that was back in 1983 and this hasn't seen any sort of applicant since as it doesn't sound nor appear to need it. You can also see where I attempted to peel the thing off but it was far too strong of an adhesive to risk damage to the label so I just left it there. His pen writing of the date went past the boundary of that sticker a hair so there are some small pen dots on the actual label (zoom in on the pic).
The cover isn't hideous but it sure doesn't match the condition of the vinyl. It wasn't in a protective sleeve when I acquired it (odd for someone who used a vinyl solution) and I didn't put it in one until my first play years later. So, there's a bit of shelf wear that is CLEARLY pictured.
All-in-all, this is a player's copy NOT a collector's copy and thus is priced accordingly. Play it once to FLAC, never touch it again!
