this LP is an Original Mono US Deep Groove Pressing
with -1A Mastering Stampers (usually an indication of a
1st Pressing) of this great Rare + Obscure Jazz Vocal Lp
by Fran Jeffries who is known for being an Actress,
Singer and a 2-Time Playboy Model and for her
appearance in the Peter Sellers film
the Pink Panther.
this copy is Inscribed and Autographed by
Fran Jeffries - the inscription is made out to "Rene"
who may be Rene Bloch but we are not sure.
the inscription reads as follows:
"Rene we always will love you and remember how we got started
- with your help - Fran Jeffries"
AUTOGRAPHED COPY with EXCELLENT CONDITION
Shiny Clean Vinyl that's been FULLY PLAY TESTED and it
SOUNDS FANTASTIC with no skips, repeats or bad noise
except for a spot during 3rd Song on Side 2 where a small
scratch causes tics until the needle passes through but
overall plays with a wonderful warm full loud tone.
the cover is in Very Good Shape but has wear
around the edges and at the corners. the top and bottom
seams do have clear tape repairs and there is also a
bit of ringwear and some soiling

Fran Jeffries aka Frances Makris started out
as a night club singer, which led to her career as a
Recording Artist and Actress. She is famous for her
appearance in the 1963 film The Pink Panther in which she
sang a song called "Meglio Stasera (It Had Better Be Tonight)"
while she danced provocatively around a fireplace.
She also sang a number in the first Pink Panther
sequel A Shot in the Dark and her figure was highlighted
in a minor role in Sex And The Single Girl. She sang on The
Tom Jones Show in 1969 with the host, doing a duet of
"You've Got What it Takes". She was featured in Playboy
Magazine in 1971 at the age of 35 in a pictorial entitled
"Frantastic!" and ten years later she posed a second
time for Playboy at the age of 45.
She was Married to singer/actor Dick Haymes
(who was Rita Hayworth’s ex) until the mid-1960s.
As a recording artist, she released several excellent
Jazz Pop Vocal LPs, among them are:
