Awesome Beatles Non-Capitol Lot: 5 Company Sleeves + 9 Singles, incl. Sie Liebt Dich, Why, My Bonnie & More!
The Beatles released a lot of great music on labels other than those familiar American yellow & orange swirls.

Add to your collection now with this super PACKAGE, including five RARE company sleeves and nine singles from Swan, Tollie, MGM, Atco and Vee Jay.  

Here’s what you get:

She Loves You / I’ll Get You (Swan 4142)

A clean, near mint-sounding single with “Don’t Drop Out,” thin print and no quotes. Of course, it carries the “Mastering Reco-Art Phila.” and 1/8” S-4152 I/S stamping on the dead wax. There’s just a small number sticker on the A side. A terrific disc!

Sie Liebt Dich / I’ll Get You (Swan S-4182)

Recorded in Paris in January 1964, and still plays great. The A-side title is in quotes on one line. Has the “Virtue Studio” etching. A tiny number sticker and minor ringwear are its only flaws.

Twist and Shout / There’s a Place (Tollie 9001)

This is one gorgeous copy, with all-black label and exciting sound on both songs.

Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You (Tollie 9008)

Released in the U.S. on April 27, 1964. This one looks and sounds like you just brought it home from the record store!

My Bonnie / The Saints (MGM K13213)

This is an East Coast First Pressing, with the publisher listed as P.D. (public domain). Later pressings changed the credit. The black labels have very minor wear. Both sides open scratchy, but settle down.

Why / Cry for a Shadow (MGM K13227)

An East Coast First Pressing, credited to The Beatles with Tony Sheridan. The B side instrumental is the only Beatles song with Harrison-Lennon listed as writers. The labels and vinyl have age-appropriate wear.

Ain’t She Sweet / Nobody’s Child (Atco 45-6308)

This is the single’s 2nd pressing, which corrected errors in the Side B songwriting and publishing credits. There’s very minor label wear, and Side B opens with minor surface noise.

Please Please Me / From Me to You (VJ 581)

According to Discogs.com, this black label version from early 1964 is perhaps the rarest of all stock copies. And it’s a stunner, with near-mint sound and appearance!

Do You Want to Know a Secret / Thank You Girl  (VJ 587)

This is a Second Press, version 2-C, with the brackets logo and colorband, pressed in Nashville. The sound is as clean as they come. Slight hand coloring on the A-side label is this disc’s only flaw.

THE SLEEVES

All five are in generally fine shape considering age. There is normal wear to the three picture sleeves, and this has been taken into consideration with the starting price. They will be nice additions to your collection.
