Vanguard BG 627/9: Szigeti—J. S. Bach 6 Sonatas & Partitas for Violin AloneAll 3 mono records are in fabulous NM- condition (with an exception noted below) with only occasional surface noise. But the box is not so good—more likeVG- or G. The lid is completely separated, soiled, and worn. All inner sleeves are original and in good condition. This is the maroon Bach Guild label. Very quiet surface, beautiful hifi sound.
The grading exception: there are 2 scuff marks across the first 2 bands and the beginning of the 3rd band of side 2 (Partita #1 in B Minor), resulting in a bump or click heard throughout most of the first 2 tracks and the first half-minute of the 3rd track, where it is the most prominent. It’s not a terribly loud imperfection, but it is definitely audible. 841 (GS 7.0.16 (841))
