APPLE RECORDS SAPCOR 12 STEREO
First pressing of Badfinger's debut LP from 1970 . Matrix A-1/ B-1 Stampers 1M/1P
A beautiful original copy - a few plays only . Pressed with the first issue dark Apple labels. A very difficult album to find as a genuine first pressing. The disc is housed in the original deeply glossy front & back laminated sleeve designed by David King. Comes with original plain white inner with UK patent number and 'Made in Great Britain' printed in grey.
CONDITION
The labels are clean and hardly marked. There is just the tiniest hint of a spindle mark on side 2, none on side 1. This record has seen just extremely minimal play. Lovely rich coloured labels with no fading whatsoever. No sticker marks, writing, age spots or scuffs.
The disc surfaces are excellent+. I have looked closely and I cannot see even the feintest of hairlines. There are just a couple of tiny not feelable spots on the vinyl. Both sides are graded as visually excellent+. The audio is also near mint. It plays beautifully with nothing to fault. A superb piece of late 60's power pop.
The fully laminated sleeve is excellent+ condition. There is a lovely deep shine to this expensively produced cover. The front is near perfect with a few small laminate creases near the bottom. The rear has a small laminate bubble about a third of the way down near the opening edge. There is a small chip in the surface that can be seen in the archway. Minor faults but worth mentioning. The corners and opening edges are sharp. The ultra narrow spine is solid and fully intact, SAPCOR 12 is the only text printed on the spine. A lovely cover with any faults being minor considerations in my opinion.
