BATTERED ORNAMENTS “Mantle- Piece” LP

This record is in great shape considering its age and genre. The vinyl would grade excellent (definitely VG++ and close to NM-), it looks as though it was played only a few times. The vinyl plays through excellent, clean, very little background noise at all, even between songs. There are machine stamped matrix numbers. The original UK green HARVEST labels are very clean with a couple light spindle marks only visible under angled light, no writing or wear either. The original 'ERNEST J. DAY' laminated cover is very thin and fragile, VG+, and has some edge and corner wear, and overall wear. There is just the start of a split seam on the top edge, barely a 1/2" or so.
With Chris Spedding on guitar, the Battered Ornaments were best know for supporting the Stones in Hyde Park on 7/5/69. With the lyrics by Pete Brown, one of Cream’s most important lyricists, this is an awesome vintage record.
