Description
You are bidding for a genuine 12” stereo
BBC TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES LP
containing STEREO POP SPECIAL – 63(i) and (ii) (CN 2005/S).
This POP SPECTACULAR LP,
dates from 1974, and features two programmes that
was recorded at the Golders Green Hippodrome Theatre.
THE ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA
and RALPH McTELL
THE ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA tracks are:
MA MA BELLE; KING OF THE UNIVERSE; BLUEBIRD ID DEAD;
OH NO NOT SUSAN; NEW WORLD RISING
and IN THE HALL OF THE MOUNTAIN KING
The RALPH McTELL tracks are:
CANDYMAN; MAGINOT WALTZ; FIRST SONG;
TRUCKIN’ LITTLE BABY; SWEET MYSTERY;
LET ME DOWN EASY and ZIG ZAG LINE
Original, (stained and written on) BBC continuity sheets are included.
The disc plays well, even though it has a few small marks and scratches on both sides.
Side 2 is a noisy pressing, and at the start of side 2 (RALPH McTELL),
the disc has several scratches in a 15mm square area.
However these marks do not cause the disc to jump.
The BBC cover has writing on the back.
