Description
This is a 3-disc BBC transcription set of a complete concert by Beecham and the Royal Philharmonic in 1959, consisting of Mendelssohn's Fair Melusine Overture, Ghedini's Musica di Concierto with Frederick Riddle, vla, Addison's Carte Blanche, Beethoven Sym. No. 7, with 4 encores. Complete with continuity, the discs are in excellent condition in original sleeves, and included are the original BBC cue sheets, a copy of the actual program, and a review. This is not even mentioned in Canfield 2000, is extremely rare and is likely one of very few copies in existence. It expired on 10/12/64 and was supposed to be returned to the BBC, but this copy survived. Shipped by registered mail.
