After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a very rare 'Wide Spine' mono pressing of the Beatles legendary LP 'Sgt. Peppers'
When this LP was initially manufactured, the sleeves had a much wider spine than the standard issues, measuring approximately 7mm wide. These were quickly scrapped (possibly because it was so easily crushable, difficult to manufacture, or was difficult to fit in a record shelf. This is just my opinion though) and today are getting very difficult to find!
The vast majority of 'Wide Spine' copies of this album are found crushed and worn. The wide spine on this copy, however, is still looking really good and flat with just some light creasing occuring at the top and bottom. The photo below shows the state of the wide spine on this sleeve.
The original mono disc that comes with this sleeve appears to be carrying a very, very rare KJT tax code that would have featured during the 1969 crossover of taxcode!

The cover is holding up nicely but is showing your light, general wear and tear. The front has lost a little of its colour vibrancy but is clean with a little dirt buildup on the laminate and a hint of disc impression. There's some light laminate creasing around the edges. Back cover is pretty much just like the front although the red colour is bright and vibrant. Top and bottom seams are both holding tightly with no wear or splitting. The wide spine is predominantly uncrushed but has creased at the top and bottom - the photo above shows what state the spine is in. The inner gatefold has it's original, rich colour and some light creasing in the laminate. Overall, holding up good with some light wear and tear. Inner Sleeve: VG

This is a USA manufactured inner sleeve (Did EMI import US sleeves?) which is pretty flat with a little yellowing. The side seam has split a little but the bottom has split about 4-5" which is why the grading is so low. The Insert: EX-

The original darker green insert is included. It has some light creasing but nothing has been cut out and there's no writing or anything. Looking pretty good! Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG-

The playing surface has a nice shine to it and is predominantly looking great with just some light, faint scuffing. However, on side 1 there's a small 1"ish long scratch at the 6 o'clock position that's feelable under the finger.

The labels are clean with bright silver text. There's a little light spidery spindlewear and a touch of whitening around each centrehole. The KJT tax code shows quite clearly in the side 1 photo.

All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
