Description

The Beatles - 'Hey Jude / Revolution'. DP 570.
The Beatles 1968 1st UK EXPORT FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Hey Jude / Revolution' 7" single. Released on the 30th August 1968, this very rare issue comes complete with the original picture sleeve and the EARLIEST POSSIBLE 1 G / 1 G STAMPERS.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant. The export issues were pressed in the UK in tiny amounts and were destined for overseas export sales only.
Released on the Parlophone label both sides feature 'The Gramophone Co.Ltd' rim print and 'MADE IN GT. BRITAIN' text. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the b-side label. The vinyl is housed within the original and correct picture sleeve with newspaper style text on the rear. The 1 G / 1 G stampers indicate this was among the very first 300 copies produced, a superb rarity which would grace any high end Beatles collection.

Side 1. 7XCE 21185-1 1 G KT
Side 2. 7XCE 21186-1 1 G KT
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD++ condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. I will include an additional sleeve to protect the original.
