The original 1968 UK MONO 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse fully laminated numbered top opening gatefold cover is in EX condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the number on the front is slightly faded, the embossed words 'THE BEATLES' on the front of the cover is clear and crisp, the spine is fully intact and perfectly readable.
Both vinyl's are in VG+++/EX condition, gleaming with all their original shine and lustre, I have played all four sides and the quality of the RARE 1968 MONO 1st Pressing is SUPERB, playing with crisp, clear clarity. The quiet tracks - "Dear Prudence", " Martha my Dear", "Black Bird", "Julia", and " Mother Nature's Son", play beautifully quietly!, the only playing fault is on "Long Long Long" where there is only a few VERY VERY light 'tics' at the start of the track, this is NOT audiable intrusive at all, no jumping or sticking, playing perfectly and quietly!, it is only a VERY MINOR critisism of these WONDERFUL playing vinyl's. I consider myself very lucky and highly privilaged to have, and listen to this wonderful original UK MONO 1st Pressing, the sound quality and all of the songs are a SHEER DELIGHT!.
All four APPLE label's are in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, their is no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindal holes show minimal wear and as previously mentioned, side 3 has the RARE KT tax code embossed in the centre of the label.
The original UK 1968 1st issue black inner sleeves are in EX condition, lovely and clean, with no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
The four photo's of the Paul, John, Ringo and George are in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, their is no unwanted writing, no pin holes, no scuffs or rips, maintaining all their original bright vibrant colour.
The original Garrod and Lofthouse credited 1968 1st issue poster is in EX condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, tears or rips.
Altogether a GREAT copy of this RARE original 1968 UK 1st Press MONO LP by the BEATLES, WHITE ALBUM.
