“Die BEATLES” 45. Canada Capitol iconic Yellow-Orange Swirl Labels. Issued in June 1964 on Canada’s Capitol label. The Beatles 9th and last unique (non-US) single in Canada. This 45 Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. Nice and shiny with maybe a scuff or two, but very clean and plays thru very well. A great copy! Only the second EX copy I have owned. Note: not NM!! But Excellent!! And labels are clean too with No Writing, just little wear! Very nice, still overall EX!! PROUD TO OWN!! Still awesome for 55 year old vinyl. Note: matrix numbers are standard with no dashes or suffixes!! So, a First Press, I believe! Probably only ONE press of this ultra-rare disc!! SUPER Collectable from Canada. Here are 2 songs from the early 1964 Beatles: SIE LIEBT DICH (German vocals of She loves you) and I’LL GET YOU (English version). The Beatles recorded Sie liebt dich and Komm gib mir deine hand in March 1964 just before the start of filming “A Hard Days Night”! Done to please the German fans who had supported them since the Hamburg days!! They were NOTt issued as a single in UK, but one was shipped to Canada and released as this single to compete with the same Swan single in USA. NOTE: both German songs were surprisingly released together in AUSTRALIA!!! Neither song sold well ANYWHERE!!! Thus they all are nowadays rare and VERY valuable!!! This is one of the “Capitol Canada Nine”, singles on the Yellow/Orange Swirl labels that were NOT released on Capitol in USA. (This actually was also on US Swan in 1964). ALSO: this includes an original Canada Capitol Company Sleeve graded EX!! Very nice. Starting with I want To Hold Your Hand, both countries released the same singles, till 1970!! Both sides here are MONO as are all the Canada Capitol Beatles 45s until Get Back. Stereo did not become common on 45s till 1969!
