Description
The BEATLES. 45 rpm vinyl record. 4 Song EP. Malaysia!! Pirate/Bootleg Rarity. Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. My highest grade. Real Nice vinyl, some scuffs but plays thru great. Both labels mostly clean, light age stains, no writing! The Picture Sleeve is way cool and the front is nice with photos in black and white of the boys from the time of filming Let it be in January 1969. The record and Movie were delayed and not released for over a year, the album underwent remixing by producer Phil Spector (who recently died). Both sides of the Picture Sleeves are beautiful and still functional and sturdy. No downside to this 50 year old item!! Lightly played! Reasonably well handled. Fewer Malaysia issued Beatles EPs out there than Thailand or Iran!! Less than 20 listed on 45cat Discography site!! Some have super rare Malaysia only song choices, like Honey Pie, Her Majesty, Mean Mr Mustard, and The End!! I have many from each country and am always hoping to find others!! Originally I found some and discovered they were good quality bootlegs/ pirates (not authorized by EMI, and no royalties to the Beatles). Like this one. I purchased them in my search for Worldwide Beatles EP rare 45 tracks. Three countries dominate this category: Thailand, Malaysia, and Iran. All discs are pirates. Back to this one: 1970 press of 4 songs: TWO OF US and LET IT BE plus THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD and I’VE GOT A FEELING. All 4 are from the Phil Spector produced reworking of the best songs from the film Let It Be. All these pirate discs are MONO, though by 1970 the Official Let It Be album was Stereo Worldwide. But....finding any of the 12 tracks from this album in Mono is a super rarity, the most unique feature to this record!!! Note: Portugal, France, and Italy issued The long and winding road and For you blue in Mono on 45s!!! Request a copy of my Top 100 Hard to Find Beatles songs on 45 Singles Worldwide List, if interested, no charge. Stereo did not become common on 45s till 1969! Request my List of 150 Beatles Songs in Stereo on 45 Singles Worldwide, if interested, no charge. See photos, actual record. This one comes in Common white sleeve and with very cool Black and White Picture Sleeve shown. I am a 50+ year Beatles collector. Item Shipped with USPS Media Mail and Global Shipping Program. Multiple purchases all ship for $5 total, so browse for others, no added shipping. Best. Beatle Lew.
