A low priced Beatles VJ 522 as you'll ever find. The VJ 522 with the brackets with original sleeve is near impossible to find.  Presently, this is by far, the lowest priced VJ 522 brackets on eBay and the ONLY one with the correct sleeve !! Record shows average play with hairlines/scuffs. There is only ONE other up for sale now for $1450 (Brackets) and not with the original sleeve.

OUT OF THE 21,225 COPIES SOLD OF VJ522, IT IS ESTIMATED THAT ONLY 7,500 WERE PRESSED WITH LABELS HAVING THE BRACKETS LOGO. THIS EXPLAINS WHY THE BRACKET LABEL RELEASES ARE BY FAR RARER AND MORE VALUABLE THAN THE MOST COMMON OF THE THREE ORIGINAL OVAL VARIATIONS. The records on both sides show very nicely. Incredibly Super hard to find after 56+ years !!

The stunning ORIGINAL VJ oval sleeve amazingly has NO SEAM SPLITS. This Vee Jay oval sleeve is exclusive to the VJ522.
Now 56+ years later, only few are known to have survived. Here is your rare chance to own one !! The condition of the record is VG, still glossy, showing average play. The VJ522 issues were at the very beginning of Beatlemania and were often played to death, day and night. This rare 45 was not played to death. Labels show just a few minor marks and still vibrant and free from any rips, which is super rare.

The Beatles second United States single, was released May 1963 with the oval labels and Jan 1964 with the super rare bracket label.
No custom picture sleeve was ever made for these records. Instead, it was issued in a generic Oval Vee Jay Records sleeve.

Vee-Jay did not press its own records. Instead, the company had the metal parts sent to regional factories for manufacture.
Records were then sent directly from these pressing plants to distributors, who in turn sent records to retailers and other distributors. In 1963 and January 1964, Vee Jay used three primary pressing plants and different label variations.
The much much rarer version and harder to find is the bracket label.

This issue is the second pressing of the record which has silver lettering on a black label with an outer rim colorband featuring the rarer brackets logo. It has the (MR) symbol in its trail off areas, indicating that it was pressed by Monarch Records. One of the oldest Beatles 45 known to exist. The 45 RPM masters, mothers, and stampers of "From Me To You (master number 63-3218)" and "Thank You Girl (master number 63-3219)" were shipped to ARP, Monarch, and Southern Plastics.

All copies of VJ 522 have the master number and a barely visible "RA" hand etched into the trail off area as well as the machine stamped Audio Matrix logo (see photo). This disc was manufactured by Monarch Records and is easily identified by a circled (MR) symbol machine stamped in the trail off areas, which also contain a hand etched job number preceded by a ? symbol.

The brackets logo variation of this record with thick print has the (MR) symbol in its trail off areas, indicating that it was pressed by Monarch Records. The job number ?47843 is hand etched in the trail off area of the A side and ?47843X appears on the B side.

It's interesting to note these early VJ pressings show the credits as McCartney-Lennon, before they were credited as Lennon-McCartney
