An extremely collectable early UK copy of this classic album

Each side of the vinyl really does gleam and in normal daylight have an appearance of near perfection. It's only under a bright light that a number of wispy, surface only hairlines come into evidence. Some are more obvious than others (none of them are very obvious!) and there are also a couple of small, pencil thin scuff marks. I'm sure that the majority of these are just paper scuffs caused by insertion into the inner sleeve. Nothing nasty here at all and overall I have no hesitation as categorising as excellent.

Similarly the overall quality of the audio is excellent+. There is the occasional, very light and intermittent hint of background crackle and this is more noticeable at the start of each side though this soon fades into insignificance. The only audio blemish of significance that I could detect was an obvious audible "click" followed by a less audible click almost at the end of "Come Together", but on close inspection, and even under a bright light, I could see no obvious vinyl flaw that would cause this. Even the small interludes between songs suffer from no background crackle or interference. A great listen!

The iconic Garrod and Lofthouse outer sleeve is in excellent condition, with original colouring fully intact. In fact, it's hard to fault : the corners remain well defined with no scuffing, as does the spine with all print perfectly legible. Remarkably there is no scuffing on any of the edges and apart from 3 virtually indistinguishable small laminate creases adjacent to and perpendicular to the spine, there is no creasing whatsoever. Brilliant!

 Each label is excellent. There are a few light, surface only spindle marks around the centre holes (only really visible when held up to a bright light) but no unwanted writing or other blemishes. Near perfect.

Comes complete with original EMI inner sleeve which is again in excellent condition - no creasing to speak of, no tears or splits, and fully functional.

NOTE : There is no "HER MAJESTY" credit on either of the sleeve or record label track listings, but the track does actually exist on the record!

A great copy of one of the greatest of all-time and most iconic albums.

I take great care in removing the record from the outer sleeve in order to prevent sleeve damage in transit, and for items that sell for over £40 to non-UK bidders I insist upon Royal Mail 1st class "tracked and signed for", so please wait for an invoice before paying. I do NOT profiteer from postage costs. I DO take great care in minimising all risk thereby ensuring, as far as possible, that your purchase reaches it's destination in exactly the same condition as when I post it.  Descriptions of any records I sell comply with the Rare Record Price Guide grading guidelines :

Mint

Description: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent

Description: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good

Description: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good

Description: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

Fair 

Description: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for prop­erly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor

Description: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad

Description: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
